Food
Please drop us a line if you'd like to arrange a Sunday lunch by appointment. Being a little lazy we’ve decided to get the fruit & veg locally, & the meat for that matter. The chickens are free range (do they really need to be in a big shed?), as are the eggs, & it all comes from our local friendly butcher in Kenilworth, from his own farm no less. The milk comes from a local dairy to boot. The veg comes from our chaps in Stratford (yes occasionally they get foreign stuff but hey we’re demanding asparagus in December) but on the whole everything is fresh, local, organic, & British. The fish? Yes ok we’re in the middle of the country but it comes in daily from very reliable suppliers who get up before dawn to make sure we get the finest of the catch. Due to this fluid dynamic the menus listed are examples - the general philosophy, meat/fish/veg split, & prices are fairly consistent. If you have any special requirements give us a bell in advance and we’ll throw a curve ball at the kitchen (it keeps us entertained). |
